Having credit has its ups and downs, and every now and then you can step off track and notice yourself within a position where you can't pay your bills. There are many diverse reasons someone gets into debt and receive a bad credit rating, and it's really simple to do at times. While there are at times no simple solutions for improving your credit at times, there are several tips to help fix your credit.
If you are looking for a consolidation company to manage all your credit problems, think again. It's true that many of these programs are legitimate, but they often have hidden agendas you don't know about in the beginning. Many of them depend on your creditors to get desperate that you are not paying your bills and hope they will to settle for less. They will say to you that when the credit card companies call you to ignore them, or tell them some story to put them off. Credit card companies don't care for the practice and often times will report you to the credit companies for payment refusal. Things like that will make your credit progress way down, and even when you have completely paid them off, the fact that you were irresponsible doesn't go away.
Emergencies may occur from time to time; if so contact your creditors and inform them of your situation right away. Many times you will notice that car loans, mortgage companies and several credit card companies will allow you to defer a payment once in awhile. Some merely offer this as a one occasion deal so be cautious when choosing this option.
Order a copy of your credit report at least once a year and go through it thoroughly line by line looking for oversights and mistakes. If you find something that shouldn't be there contact the credit bureau immediately and dispute it. It's worth paying for your report and in some states it's mandatory for the credit bureaus to provide you with a free copy.
In summary improving you credit starts with you. You credit score will determine how much you have to pay, in the way of interest rates, for the things you purchase in the future. Stay on top of things the best you can and view you creditors as business partners who have an investment in you.

The Temptations
One of the greatest, if not the greatest, R&B groups of all times is the Temptations. Original group members included Paul Williams, Eddie Kendricks, Melvin Franklin, David Ruffin and the only surviving member, Otis Williams. But did you know that to date there has been over 20 members in this remarkable group. The group had it's early start in Detroit under the name, “The Elgins” but came into national fame under the Motown umbrella of entertainment which was started and ran by it's CEO, Barry Gordy. One of my all time favorites in the group is Otis Harris Jr. who goes by the name Damon Harris. Damon was with the group from 1971-75 and at 20 years old, he was the youngest member back then. I had a chance to meet Damon in Baltimore when he first joined the group and I can honestly say that he had a falsetto that rivaled Eddie Kendricks.
John Schnatter
What was John Schnatter's response to a question from presenter Adam Shaw about whether he was concerned about the impact of the British government's anti-obesity drive on pizza sales.
"No. Pizza's actually healthy for you if you don't eat too much of it," Schnatter replied, adding, "You can't eat five or six slices but if you eat one or two slices it's very nutritious."
The head of the Papa John's pizza chain had just finished telling BBC listeners that the UK market was a "huge priority for Papa John's International."
Papa John's has 118 outlets in the United Kingdom which is its second biggest market outside the U.S. after China.
Pizza delivery companies, as shown by recent strong trading from Domino's Pizza, had already emerged as big winners from the recession, as diners abandon eating out in favor of a pizza at home in front of the television.
