Princess Aiko was spotted enjoying Japan's Health and Sports Day yesterday morning, a national holiday commemorating the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. The Olympics that year began on October 10, as it was found to have had the least number of rainy days in the year giving the best chance of a fine day to open the sports extravaganza.

Princess Aiko, 8, daughter and only child of heir apparent Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako, hit the headlines earlier this year when it was revealed she was suffering from bullying at Gakushuin Elementary School in Tokyo.
